The Vatican launched a panic probe after the Pope’s Instagram account ‘liked’ a raunchy photograph of Brazilian model Natalia Garibotto.

The Vatican authorities in Rome are yet to establish how and when the Instagram account “liked” Garibotto’s raunchy photo in which she is wearing a school uniform.

The hot bikini model is seen posing in the photo while books in a school locker while wearing a skimpy skirt which is covering minute parts while leaving nothing to the imagination.

The photo has attracted more than 114,000 “likes” and included that of Pope Francis’ official Instagram account, Franciscus.

An excited Garibotto acknowledged the holy ‘like’ after her fans brought it to her attention and likened it to a stamp of approval for what she does.

“At least I’m going to heaven,” she said even as netizens have been left wondering if it’s the Pope who using his own IG account or his handlers got a little too excited with the passwords.

Global news outlets noticed and started reporting on the ‘holy’ development on Friday last week before the Pope’s account on Instagram undid the ‘liked’ to the excitement of social media users.

Officers from the Holy are reported to have launched an investigation with the aim of establishing how the Pope’s account could have taken such a naughty action.

The Vatican has already contacted Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, to find a plausible explanation for the controversial ‘like’ by the revered head of the Catholic Church worldwide.

Pope Francis’ Instagram account (Franciscus) has 7.4 million followers and his Twitter account (@Pontifex) has 18.8 million followers.

The 27-year-old model reportedly told Barstool Sports she was flattered by the Pope’s instagram ‘like’ and said: “My mum may hate my a** pics but the Pope be double-tapping.”

Natalia has more than 2 million followers on IG and her own website, where she indicates that her fans can find there “unreleased content, access to BTS clips, twerk videos and more!”
