Former NRG and Kiss fm presenter Andrew Kibe has hinted at trying his hand at politics again come the 2022 general election after failing miserably in his last attempt in 2013.

Kibe, through his twitter page, revealed that he was considering giving politics another try but he was calculating his steps so that he doesn’t suffer the same fate that befell him in the 2013 general election.

“I’m still debating if I should get back into this politics thingy after my ass was whooped a gudwan Langata 2013. The ass-kissary is ridiculous,” he posted on Twitter.

Kibe vied for the Langata parliamentary seat in the 2013 election on a UDF ticket and got a derisory 1,737 votes to emerge third behind ODM’s Joash Olum who won with 25,394 votes and URP’s Nixon Korir (current MP), who was second with 17,740 votes.

The loss sunk Kibe into a Sh2.5 million debt, cash he had used to campaign believing he would win, and resulted his pal Joshua Weru suing him in 2019 demanding he repays the loan plus accrued interest.

The outspoken media personality, who nowadays runs a podcast on Youtube, was recently sighted posing for a photo with former Nairobi County Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe, who is currently the Equity Bank Group Chief Commercial Officer.
