A storm is brewing in the Roots Party following the public spat between George Wajackoyah and his deputy, Justina Wamae.
This comes after the party leader Wajackoyah summoned her deputy over utterances both in the mainstream media and social media concerning the recent elections.
Wamae declined to respond to the accusations that were levelled against her by her party leader and termed them as petty.
However, dismissed claims by Wajackoyah that he assisted her with her accommodation and a vehicle she used during the campaign.

“I will not respond to pettiness. But on the NON EXISTENT accomodation and car you IMAGINED you ‘assisted’ me with you can withdraw in your DREAMS. It is your party do what you deem fit, I will soldier on,” Justina said.
Based on the conduct of Justina, Wajackoyah summoned her for failure to adhere to the Roots Party Constitutional and Manifesto.
“That in line with the above and your failure to adhere to the Roots Party Constitution and manifesto, the Party finds it in order, to invite you for a disciplinary hearing on 26 AUG 2022 at 2:30 PM, at the Party's head office,” the statement read.
Wajackoyah also accused Justina of misrepresenting Roots Party’s stand, making the party suffer public ridicule and disrepute.
According to Wajackoyah, Justina has disassociated herself with Roots Party and its ideologies and associated herself with their opponents and advocates for the ideologies of their opponents.
The party also warned Justina of dire consequences if she does not desist from the misrepresentation and utterances.
“Take further notice: That failure to stop the misrepresentation and irresponsible utterances, we have instructions to institute a legal action against you without further notice, to you, to your peril as to cost and consequences,” the notice read.
