Media personality and Kameme TV presenter Wangeci Wa Kariuki has welcomed a bouncing baby girl.
Taking to her Facebook page on Friday, July 16, the TV girl shared the good news by posting a cute photo of her baby’s hand.
This followed came just a day after her mother’s burial. She disclosed she named her daughter Florence Wambui in order to honour her late mother, whom she said always wished to see her grandchildren.
“And just a day after we buried our loving mum, God has just granted her wish and a new beautiful baby girl is born. Florence Wambui Mbatia is reborn. And as she would tell me..Kai Ngai atangiteithia ujiare(My wish is that may God bless you with a baby girl to name her after me and yes her prayers were granted .ii Kai Ngai wi mwegai.
She further thanked God, terming the good news as a miracle, adding that indeed God had wiped their tears
“My friends help me together with my family to thank God for a miracle, He has indeed wiped our tears,” she wrote.
She is now a mother of four, with Wambui joining her two brothers and a sister.
Wangeci hosts a breakfast show at Kameme TV dubbed Rikiratha but has been on maternity leave. Sitting in for Wangeci is Nonsizi-Agnes who will host the show for the next three months.
