Elodie Zone has once again changed tune days after retracting confession about an abusive relationship with singer Nviiri The Storyteller.

In her earlier account, she blamed her woes on being under the influence of alcohol and bloggers taking her story out of context saying they misunderstood and misinterpreted her social media posts.

“Nviiri and I came to the coast with our friends to unwind, relax and make peace with each other. When I made my post it was fueled by tension and an afternoon of few too many drinks,” her previous statement read in part.

The content creator, however, explained that her story was real despite people trashing it after confessing she penned it down while under the influence of alcohol.

“Apologies, not for the truth I spoke but for the fact that I went public and it was misinterpreted by a nation I call home. I made my second post because going public under the influence of a few drinks was wrong. I should have done it in a sober mindset because it’s something real to me and us as women and men,” her fresh statement read in part.

Elodie had publicly confirmed that she broke up with his celebrity boyfriend Nviiri.

She opened up about a friend who slammed her against the table in a club and left her stranded there. She confirmed it was Nviiri 

“Yup. January 1st 2021. There are videos online of him slamming me against a table and leaving me and my baby cousins at a club past curfew. Cross-check with my ‘life is good’ highlight. The first vid,” Elodie added.

Elodie also said she was warned against speaking out and kept bruises in her heart for long until recently when she opened up.

“I’ve hidden bruises from my past two relationships. I’ve felt stupid and have been undermined. I’ve kept quiet. I’ve been told to stop speaking up on social media cause I’ll look like I’m ‘acting out. I’ve been told that depression means you overact…etc…all are total nonsense. I want men and women in my position to raise their voices! We may be small but our voices cannot be silenced,” she added.

This comes as Nviiri has remained tight-lipped on the matter and his record label Sol Generation managed by Sauti Sol undertook to sponsor counselling sessions for the former couples, who had been serving couple goals both online and offline.
