The State Department for Housing and Urban Development under the Ministry of Housing has announced the interruption of services on the ambitious Boma Yangu Affordable Housing platform.

The interruption was announced via a public statement the ministry issued on Friday.

“To our esteemed Boma Yangu members and the General Public,” the statement read in part.

“We are delighted to announce that we are upgrading the Affordable Housing Boma Yangu platform to enhance service delivery.”

According to the statement, the interruption of services will pave way for the migration and interlinking of Boma Yangu with eCitizen.

The migration exercise commenced on Friday at 6 pm will be concluded on Monday at 6 am.

“This, therefore, is to notify our members and the general public that during the migration, our services on the platform shall be temporarily unavailable and inaccessible,” the statement further read.
