Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) based in Kabarnet have arrested three suspects after being found in possession of ivory.

The three suspects were intercepted by DCI sleuths as they drove towards Oinobmoi from Barwessa in Baringo County, following a report made through DCI’s anonymous toll-free line.

Among those apprehended during the Sunday night raid is Senior Sergeant Charles Kandagor Kipkulei, who is attached to the Rift Valley Regional Police Headquarters.

The suspects are being held at Kabarnet Police Station, as further investigations are being conducted before they are arraigned.
