Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has dared Interior PS Karanja Kibicho to go ahead and file his libel case against him in court saying he is ready to table evidence to back his allegations.

In a series of tweets titled “MY RESPONSE TO PS KARANJA KIBICHO”, hours after Kibicho vowed he would move to court to sue him, Sonko was defiant saying he will substantiate his claims.

The impeached Nairobi County boss reacted after the Interior PS presented himself to the DCI headquarters saying he would sue Sonko in his personal capacity in the course of the week.

“I've also gathered that he plans to move to court this week purportedly to sue over my statement yesterday. My brief response to him is simple: BRING IT ON! Throughout my public life, I've NEVER made any allegations that I can't substantiate. including the truth I spoke yesterday,” Sonko posted.

Sonko indicated that he was waiting to be invited by the DCI to record his own statement on claims that he together with Kibicho stage-managed chaos after the contested 2017 election.

“I therefore look forward to an invitation from @DCI_Kenya to record my statement, and for the PS to move to court quickly so that I can table ALL the evidence I have for Kenyans to see and judge for themselves,” he added.

Sonko also repeated his claims that the “Deep State” planned to eliminate ODM party Leader Raila Odinga in 2017 and allegedly used sewerage to bar him from holding a rally in Jacaranda.

“I am also ready to table evidence of how the deep state organized the attempted assassination of former P.M @RailaOdinga in 2017, and how the same system financed the delivery of sewerage at the Jacaranda Grounds to prevent the then People's President from holding a public rally.

He further confessed to being an errand boy for the “System” in Nairobi during the said period.

“I was the main mobilizer in Nairobi for the so-called system, so I know what I am talking about and I have a lot to tell my fellow Kenyans and the WORLD.

“The time has come when we must fix this country, and dismantle the so-called deep state that keeps misusing leaders to mobilize the youth for them.”

Sonko claimed together with the PS and members of “Deep State” and “System” they printed ODM t-shirts and bought used cars which they torched on Ngong road to stage-manage chaos and blame Raila Odinga's opposition party ODM for it.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria warned sonko against making desparaging remarks against President Uhuru Kenyatta following their public fallout leading to his impeachment as governor, a move Kenyatta admitted to plotting due to Sonkos' fights with everyone.
