Deputy President William Ruto on Sunday turned his guns on ODM leader Raila Odinga and accused him of attacking President Uhuru Kenyatta on issues he has with his performance.
Ruto accused Odinga of humiliating the President Kenyatta by constantly bashing Jubilee government performance during the opposition leader’s recent political rallies.
“If you have a problem with the performance of Jubilee government, I want to tell you to stop despising and humiliating President Uhuru. Stop talking to him in rallies,” said Ruto.

Odinga has recently been attacking the DP for running away from Jubilee failures despite being in the forefront publicising the pledges during ruling Jubilee campaigns ahead of the 2017 poll.
In his recent rally to popularise the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) in Westlands, Nairobi Raila accused Jubilee of failing to deliver laptops for learners and stadia among many other pledges, singling out Ruto for trying to escape taking responsibility for them.
He was reacting to Ruto’s claims that Jubilee lost track of its development plans after Odinga’s infamous handshake with the president that brought ceasefire to the 2017 political heat.
“He changed our priorities from jobs creation to the review of the Constitution. He should accept he has been part of the failure," DP Ruto asserted.
Ruto was speaking in Dagoretti as he spread his “Hustler Nation” gospel while defending it against accusations that it is fueling class wars ahead of the 2022 General Election.
“Let nobody threaten you that hustler is about dividing people. I want to tell you that these people we have outclassed them. They are the ones dividing the people by fanning politics of tribe and positions,” added Ruto.
