Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has arrived at the Nairobi Serena Hotel to attend the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party presidential running mate interview.
In what came as a shock to many, Kalonzo rescinded an earlier stand that he would not be attending any such interviews nor vetting processes.
Kalonzo in a statement issued on Monday through his Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka command said he would attend the interview after all.
"His Excellency Hon. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka SC, hereby states that he has decided to honor the invitation to attend the interviews for the Azimio One Kenya Running Mate position that will be conducted by the panel of eminent persons chaired by Hon. Noah Wekesa on the 9th of May 2022 at 9:00 am," the statement read.
This comes after members of his Wiper party and a large number of people from the Kamba community had vowed he would not attend any such vetting processes nor interview.

Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka will not do it your way. He will not do it the way he promised yesterday especially if he thinks you liked it.
