Deputy President William Ruto has responded to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s remarks in which he said Ruto abandoned him when he needed him most.

Ruto took to his Twitter account and said he was sorry and felt Uhuru’s pain.

In a cutting rejoinder, Ruto told Uhuru that whoever he assigned his responsibility, insinuating Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga have let Uhuru down.

“SORRY my Boss. I FEEL your pain. Those you ASSIGNED my RESPONSIBILITIES & 'project' mzee have let you DOWN miserably,” Ruto said.

He accused Uhuru’s associate of derailing their Big Four Agenda, killed their party and wasted their second term. He referred to them as being useless.

“They bangled our BIG4, killed our party & wasted your 2ND term. Wao ni bure kabisa,” Ruto said.

Ruto extended a hand to Uhuru, saying he was only a phone call away if he needed him. He also claimed the last cabinet meeting was two days ago.

“Boss, am AVAILABLE. Just a PHONE call away. Sadly last CABINET was 2yrs ago,” Ruto said.

Ruto was reacting to Uhuru’s remark he made on Sunday during the Labour Day celebrations at the Nyayo Stadium.
