US President-elect Joe Biden and his wife Jill Biden on Monday received a Covid-19 vaccine live on television.
The exercise was part of a campaign to boost the confidence of Americans in the recently discovered Coronavirus vaccine.
The 78-year-old politician received the Pfizer vaccine at the Christiana Hospital in Delaware where he assured the American public that there was nothing to worry about.
"There's nothing to worry about," Biden said as he got the Covid-19 jab and encouraged the public to go ahead and get vaccinated for the deadly virus.
“People should be ready to get the vaccine when it’s available.”

Biden received the vaccine even as President Donald Trump has continued to give mixed messages on whether he would be getting the jab.
The incoming first couple joined an expanding list of leaders who are getting the jab in a bid to convince the American public that the virus inoculation is safe for humans.
Biden did not flinch as a nurse injected him in the left arm at Christiana Hospital in Newark.
He paid tribute to front line health care workers and even gave Trump’s administration some credit for the efforts that gave birth to the Covid-19 vaccine.
