A father to an 11-year-old minor is reported to have defiled his daughter in Kibwezi, Makueni County.

Matuku Katumu aged 38 is reported to have committed the grievous crime on Sunday at around 6:30 pm while he was on his way home from a shop in the company of his daughter.

According to the little girl’s account, Katumu turned against his daughter when they reached a stretch within Mikuyuni Teachers and restrained her hands before performing the beastly act on his daughter.

The class five pupil made desperate attempts to free herself from her father's grip but only managed to let out a shrilling alarm into the air that somewhat threatened her father.

Katumu started issuing threats to his daughter upon suspecting that the girl was sure to tell on him.

When he noticed the little girl had developed difficulties in walking, Katumo devised an evil plan to frame another pupil from his daughter’s school.

He coached her daughter to frame an innocent boy from her school.

Officials from the area’s Nyumba Kumi cell got wind of the incident on Thursday and demanded to have the framed boy questioned.

Meanwhile, the little girl was taken to Kibwezi Sub-county Hospital for examination.

While the medical team had a private examination with the girl, she exposed her father who was at that time leading the Nyumba Kumi officials to the home of the boy he framed.

Detectives in Kibwezi were informed of the development and promptly apprehended the suspect promptly leaving the people who accompanied him astonished.

The suspect was put in police custody as police were concluding their investigations before preferring appropriate charges.
