The suspects linked to the attack of a female motorist along Forest Road will spend more days in remand until Monday.

This comes after the prosecution asked for 5 more days but the court allowed only 2.

The investigating officer, Yvonne Mwanzia, told the court that the investigations are complete and the file has been forwarded to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution (ODPP) for perusal.

After perusal, the ODPP will decide whether to charge the suspects or set them free depending on available evidence.

16 of the suspects have been in custody for 15 days and they were later joined by the prime suspect in the case Zachariah Nyaore Obadiah.

Nyaore was arrested on March 14, 2022, at the Kenya-Tanzania border in Sirare while trying to flee the country.
