Four people have been confirmed dead after the vehicle they were travelling in was destroyed by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Wajir County.
The vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser was ferrying good items when it went over an IED and exploded at Erga, some 14 kilometres away from the Wajir Police station, along the Wajir-Gerile road.
A multi-agency security team has already been deployed to the scene as the investigations are ongoing.
This comes barely a week after another similar incident occurred in Mandera, where scores of people lost their lives and more others got seriously injured when the PSV vehicle they were travelling in also ran over an IED and exploded.
