A section of Kenyan consumers will have to dig deeper into their pockets after the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) hiked some fuel prices once again.

In the fuel price review this month for the period June 15, 2021, to July 14, 2021, the prices for Super Petrol increases by Sh0.77 per litre while that of Diesel and Kerosene remain the same.

This comes as a relief for a section of Kenyans who use petroleum products whose prices have not changed from the last review.

However, a majority of Kenyans still find the current fuel prices high and would otherwise wish them revised downwards.

Kenyans are still reeling from the effects of Covid-19 and prices of consumer products have gone up as a result of increased production costs

In the new review, a litre of Super petrol in Nairobi will retail at 127.14 while in Mombasa and Kisumu it will retail for 124.72 and 126.67 respectively.
