The Nation Media Group has made a passionate appeal for urgent blood donations for renowned journalist and editor Janet Chapia.

NMG on Thursday disclosed that Chapia has been admitted to Meridian Equator Hospital in Nairobi West.

However, NMG did not mention the cause of Chapia’s admission to the health facility.

According to the advert, well-wishers with any blood group are welcome to donate blood.

“Editor Janet Chapia was admitted at Meridian Equator Hospital in Nairobi West and in urgent need of blood. Any blood group will suffice,” the advertisement said.

Reports show that some well-wishers have already donated blood, while others have shown interest in doing the same.
