Zari Hassan has addressed a viral photo of herself where she was seen kissing a woman during her all-white lavish birthday party.

The photos caused an uproar on social media for quite some time before she came out to clear the air.

During an interview with journalists and bloggers, the mother of five was asked about her relationship with a woman she was seen kissing and she quickly responded by saying that is her girlfriend.

According to Zari, kissing is something normal and Ugandans should be ready to accept that without judging or concluding that something is going on.

“That’s my girlfriend. It’s a fellow girl, somebody I love. So me hugging her and kissing her is something really normal only that we Ugandans are still backwards, we don’t really understand these things, but there’s nothing really going on,” Zari revealed.

Zari also for the umpteenth time spoke about her relationship with her baby daddy celebrated singer Diamond Platnumz stating that they only co-parent their kids.

She also revealed that she would not be repeating the mistake of publicizing her new relationship as she did with her previous ones leading to breakups.
