Popular musician Nyashinski is appealing to his fans and the public to help raise medical funds for his sister-in-law.

The artiste took to his Twitter account to make the medical appeal for the sister-in-law who is ailing from a rare blood condition known as Severe Aplastic Anaemia.

“My sister-in-law Janet was recently diagnosed with a rare blood disorder known as Severe Aplastic Anaemia,” Nyashinski tweeted.

The bone marrow’s inability to produce enough blood causes the life-threatening condition.

“A life-threatening condition where the bone marrow stops producing enough blood for the body,” Nyashinski explained.

According to medical experts, the best remedy for the condition would be a bone marrow transplant.

Nyashinski said they cannot do the procedure in the country as there are no health facilities with the capacity to perform the procedure.

While appealing for the funds from well-wishers, the musician said he is cognizant of the fact that currently many people are financially distressed therefore would appreciate any contributions.
