Former Tahidi High actress Judy Wachuka alias Mrs Ngatia, has recently also pleaded with Kenyans to build her a house like they did for her husband Joseph Kinuthia alias Omosh.

While in an interview with Hiram Maina, the former actress and Omosh's first wife, revealed that things had not been going well for her and her three children.

She emotionally stated that she was struggling while living in a bedsitter house together with their kids since she lost her acting job on the popular Citizen TV show Tahidi High.

Wachuka revealed that she had a lot of debts from her village-mates, something that she says has left her avoiding some routes.

“Sometimes I feel like wearing a buibui so people cannot recognise me,” Wachuka said

She narrated how everything turned dark on her when the country got hit by the dead COVID-19 pandemic and lacked methods of fending for her children. 

“Life has been challenging for us since the Covid-19 pandemic struck. But, when I was at Tahidi High, at least I could fend for my children. I have suffered together with my children. They have been chased away from school over fees numerous times,” she said.

Adding on, Mrs Ngatia opened up that she has been kicked out of four houses over rent arrears because the landlords believed she has money but refuses to pay rent.

“My landlords used to see us on TV and would not believe that we could not pay rent. One time, I used to stay in Umoja but was thrown out by the landlord saying my husband has a big name,” she said.

In order to stop paying rent, Wachuka pleaded with Kenyans to build her a house even if it’s a one-bedroom. She revealed she is currently paying Sh 5,000 rent and has two months' arrears already.

“Even if I get a one-bedroom, metal house, I would move into it very fast. I don’t want to disturb people because I know times are hard. I would appreciate it even if I get a temporary structure for now,” Wachuka said.

During the interview, Omosh wished her all the best while revealing that he now occupies the house recently constructed for him by well-wishers with his second wife and their children.
