Blogger Robert Alai was arrested over an ugly altercation with controversial gospel artist Alex Apoko alias Ringtone.

The two had bitter public fight after being involved in an accident that quickly turned into road rage in the Kilimani neighbourhood of Nairobi.

Nobody knows what actually transpired and who was to blame but the two personalities accused each other of obstruction leading to the accident.

Alai was arrested and taken to Kilimani Police station and detained on allegations of assaulting Ringtone with a rungu (club).

The gospel artist was seen in a video with his seemingly bloody face and getting agitated and even climbing on his Range Rover driver's side window.

However, it is not yet certain whether he sustained those injuries from the accident or from an alleged assault by Alai as, from the videos seen by Swala Nyeti, the driver's window of his car is shattered.

Ringtone took himself to Kilimani Police Station to record a statement before reportedly proceeding to the hospital for medical attention.

The incident attracted mixed reactions from Kenyans online who watched the video after it went viral.
