Mungai Mbaya, a brother to actor Tyler Mbaya alias Baha, and his girlfriend have been thrown into mourning after losing their newborn child a month after delivery.

Mungai and his Aisha revealed the sad news of the death of their son, Lyric Kagecho Mungai, on Monday after they welcomed him to the world on May 28.

In a lengthy and emotional post on Instagram, Aisha said she was yet to come to terms with the loss of their cute son.

“I’m literally shaking typing this because I’m still in shock. I can’t believe my baby is gone and I’m never going to see him. He fought so hard to stay with us but he was in too much pain. He decided it was time for him to rest,” she posted. 

The heartbroken Aisha described her son as the most beautiful in the world.

“He turned a month old today but he couldn’t go any further. I had so many plans for him and it really hurts that I’ll never get to see them through with him. I can’t believe my son is gone,” she said.

The mourning mother noted that May 28, her late son’s birthday, and June 28 when he passed on, will forever be etched in her mind.

“I’m still in shock and denial, I even feel like vomiting my guts out. I’ve never dealt with loss in my life before and this hits home so bad. I miss him so much,” she added.

In conclusion, she prayed that her son would rest in perfect peace and that the couple will always carry him in their hearts.

“He gave me happiness that I had never felt and we loved him so much. He made me a mother and I’ll always be in his debt for that. We still love him and he will always be my Lyric Kagecho Mungai. There will never be another like him. Fly with the angels my baby boy,” she concluded.
