Bongo music star Diamond Platnumz thrilled many at the recently concluded BET Awards after rocking an eye-catching Maasai attire.

The WCB CEO regalia was accessorized by a beautiful beaded neckpiece, a machete and a shield.

The star, unfortunately, failed to bag the Best International Act after Nigerian artist Burna Boy took the lead in the category.

However, in his speech, Diamond thanked his fans from all over the world for showering him with love and support after he was nominated for the awards.

He remained positive that there is always next time, and he is optimistic that at that time he would take the lucrative award home.

In the Best International Act category, Burna Boy who won was nominated alongside, Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Wizkid (Nigeria), Aya Nakamura (France), Emicida (Brazil), Headie One (UK), Young T & Bugsey (UK) and Youssoupha (France).

In Burna Boy’s speech moments after getting hold of the plaque, he said,

“I made it this time to collect my award. Thank you, everyone, thank you my mum the most beautiful woman on earth who would normally be making this speech for me because I don’t really like talking on the mic if I’m not singing but my mom is here and thank you everyone and anything,” he said.
