Socialite Stacy Vugusta alias Pendo was on Friday arraigned in Mombasa for being unable to settle a bill of Sh208,000 owed to the English Point Marina in Mombasa.
The Mombasa court heard that Pendo had accumulated a bill of Sh330,000 but only managed to pay English Point Marina Sh145,000.
She had reportedly vowed to pay the remaining cash between September 14 and October 7 but the management blocked her from leaving the hotel until she settles the said debt in full.
Two weeks after making the pledge she was still unable to fulfill her obligations even as her hotel bill continued to accumulate as her attempts to raise the balance proved futile.
Pendo reportedly spent a number of days at the deluxe marina hotel with an unidentified male companion who is said to have abandoned her forcing the hotel to report her to the police.
