Flamboyant city preacher Reverend Lucy Natasha on Monday posted a photo on social media while receiving the Astrazeneca Covid-19 vaccine together with her church members, but the photos attracted attention for a different reason.

Her intention was to spread the Coronavirus vaccination gospel but instead Kenyans on social media noticed her conspicuous tattoo that was sitting pretty on her left arm.

“Together with my Pastoral team, I took the COVID-19 AstraZeneca Vaccine at RFH Health Care in adherence to Government and Medical recommendations for clergy and frontline workers as we combine our efforts in overcoming this global pandemic. This too will pass #vaccine,” she posted.

However, Kenyan social media users started debating on whether a “woman of God” like her should don tattoos after noting hers written “Oracle of God”, her adopted church title.

“What does the bible say about Tattoo,” asked @OwiyoJulius.

“Leviticus 19:28 spoke against wearing of tattoo on the body, why are you having one on your arm Oracle of God?” posed @chrisodang.

“But even if she have tatoo she is Christian I know, and she is very beautiful,” posted @AshireyJaphet.

But some Twitter users came to the defence of Natasha who is known for hobnobbing with celebrities and senior politicians, some who attend her prosperity gospel church services.

“What if her tattoo was assigned before she gave her life to Christ? You never know, only to judge. Wanders shall never ends,” said @SYageorge.

The Empowerment Christian Church (ECC) founding pastor is known for her flashy dressing and lavish lifestyle replete with luxurious vehicles and private jet and chopper rides.
