Media personality Willis Raburu released a statement on Sunday warning bloggers and writers from referring to him as a father of one.

In his lengthy statement, the citizen TV presenter said is heartbreaking to see how people easily forgot about his late daughter Adana.

Raburu and his ex-wife Marya Prude lost their newborn daughter in January 2020 and they have since been public with it.

However, Raburu feels like people ought to think that the pain of losing a child is only experienced by the mother, which to him happens to both.

He revealed that the loss of Adana threw him into grief that would never end.

“First of all let me say that I am all for freedom of expression and speech. I appreciate all the hard work that blogs and bloggers and/or writers put in to get out their stories. I may not always agree with their methods or practice but they are trying to earn and that’s noble, at least to some extent,’’ Said Raburu

The media personality added that even though he never carried the baby he undergoes the sad experience and cries at times wishing Adana was alive.

“It has however come to my attention while reading some of them, that I am constantly referred to as “FATHER OF ONE” This however is not the case. As many of you know I lost my daughter Adana. For those who have gone through such a loss, you know that it NEVER leaves you,” He said in part

He pleaded with everyone to always refer to him as a father of two and even reminded everyone about his bouncing baby boy he sired with his new girlfriend Ivy Namu.

“Recently I got an amazing young boy. I see heaven each time I look at him. He is truly my heart. I am therefore without a shadow of a doubt a father of two. Not a new father,”
