Tanzanian musician Ben Pol has confirmed that he is divorcing the beautiful Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai.

In a statement from his management, Pol said the divorce proceeding were at an advanced stage at a court in Tanzania.

“At this time, Ben Pol would like to confirm that his divorce proceedings are at the primary court but have not yet been finalized,” said Pol’s management in a statement on his Instagram page.

The management added, “These proceedings are a private matter and he will not discuss any details out of respect for all parties involved.”

He asked for his family to be given “space and privacy during these challenging times”, days after Anerlisa, the Nero Water Company CEO, also insinuated that they had parted ways.

The confirmation by Ben Pol, real name Benard Michael Paul Mnyang'anga, comes weeks after the rumours of their split started flying around as the two remained tight-lipped.


Their fans and media started speculating on their rocky marriage after Anerlisa, the daughter of Keroche Breweries owner Tabitha Karanja, deleted his photos from his social media pages and also removed his surname from her handle.

The two got married at a private ceremony in Dar es Salaam only 10 months ago and set couple goals on their Instagram pages while professing their undying love for each other.
