The Agrochemicals Association of Kenya (AAK)/CropLife Kenya rebranded on Tuesday to reflect its new strategy of “Better Farming, Better Food, Better Health” to its stakeholders.

AAK says the body will focus on “human well-being through food, nutrition and health, and the sustainable use of our ecosystems” to address changing global food and health needs.

The association says its new logo and identity reaffirms AAK’s/CropLife Kenya’s positioning and philosophy of sustainable high-quality food production and associated health benefits.

“Food and health needs have changed the world over, requiring us to reinforce our positioning in line with these changes and market expectations,” said AAK Chairperson Patrick Amuyunzu.

Amuyunzu added, “To this end, we are excited to inform you of the proposed sharpened positioning and benefits of AAK as seen through the eyes of our stakeholders.”

At the new logo reveal, he said, as the pest management leader, AAK will grow its position as a “reliable and trusted source” of information and networking for all its stakeholders.

“AAK will broaden its appeal and be able to expand to a new space. Today’s event will help increase relevance and value and drive growth to our members,” said AAK Vice Chairperson Wachira Mureithi.

AAK says its new outlook will also leverage on its global partnerships with CropLife International, CropLife Africa Middle East among others to further achieve its objectives.

With a membership from the Ministry of Agriculture, Pest Control Products Board (PCPB), partners and AAK member companies, AAK has pledged to support the government’s efforts to achieve food security, safety, and nutrition in a sustainable manner.
