OPPO on Thursday officially launched in Kenya the OPPO Reno8 T 5G, the latest addition to OPPO’s famed Reno8 series.
The new Reno8 T 5G device features a Dual Micro-Curved Design offering an all-new premium look backed by a 120Hz 3D Curved Screen and 3D back cover.
The new device by the Chinese company also pioneered an Ultra-Clear Imaging System on the back of a 108MP Portrait Camera that delivers high-resolution vividly detailed photos.

OPPO has also upgraded 67W SUPERVOOCTM charging with a 4,800mAh large battery, the Battery Health Engine, ColorOS 13 to greatly enhance the user experience on Reno8 T 5G.
Portrait Upgrade
The Reno8 T 5G comes with OPPO’s inaugural 108MP Portrait Camera and features 40x Microlens exclusive to OPPO and a 2MP Depth Camera supported by a 32MP Selfie Camera.
The 108MP Portrait Camera is supported by NonaPixel Plus binning technology and AI Portrait Super Resolution that captures ultra-clear, high-resolution images in any situation.
Reno8 T 5G also provides the user with a varied portrait features that includes Selfie HDR, Bokeh Flare Portrait and Dual-View Video for enhanced photos of professional-quality.
Curved Design
The OPPO Reno8 T 5G introduces a 120Hz 3D Curved Screen and a 3D back cover that offers the use a unique design, feel and comfort away from the traditional Reno series designs.
The screen’s 56-degree curve and 1.9 mm arc height enhance the grip for Reno lovers and offers them an immersive viewing screen and damage reduction when they drop the phone.
The sleek flagship device also comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a 93 per cent screen-to-body ratio and minimal bezel.
It has a 120Hz refresh rate and 1 Billion Color Display backed by an AI Adaptive Eye Protection System and a tempered DT-Star2 glass for extra durability and eye safety.
The Reno8 T 5G supports 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce eye fatigue occasioned by low-frequency flickers.
The new device comes in Sunrise Gold and Midnight Black, with a crystal-effect 3D back cover to reduce finger print marks, weighs 171g and is 7.7mm making it feel very light.
Unmatched Performance
The Reno8 T 5G can charge a 4800mAh battery, up to 100 per cent in just 44 minutes, with a 5-minute charge enough for 5.59 hours of phone calls or 3.56 hours of watching videos.
OPPO’s exclusive Battery Health Engine intelligently controls the charging current and voltage via real-time monitoring for an extended service to the user.
The device comes with Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 695 5G Mobile Platform for efficient 5G performance and Dual Stereo Speakers and Ultra Volume Mode for better sound quality.
It comes equipped with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and supports up to 1TB SD card expansion and up to 8GB of extra virtual RAM using OPPO’s RAM Expansion function.
The Reno8 T 5G comes further complemented by OPPO’s self-developed Dynamic Computing Engine to ensure a longer stable user experience under heavy computing loads.
The new smartphone device also features the Dynamic Computing Engine developed by OPPO that gives heavy smartphone user a longer stable experience.
