India's leading food and agri-tech platform WayCool Foods on Wednesday announced the entrance of its technology arm, Censa, into the African food supply chain continuum.
Waycool says its strategic expansion seeks to tackle challenges in the African food supply chain and establish a tech-enabled entire food ecosystem and make it more resilient.
“Both India and Africa face similar food challenges, primarily due to fragmented supply chains,” said CensaNext Systems CEO Avinash Krishnakumar Kasinathan.

WayCool has utilized its platform, Censa, to efficiently source agricultural produce from 200,000 farmers and prominent Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in India.
The platform enables smooth delivery to 1,25,000 customers, including processors, traders, retailers, Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes (HoReCa) brands, and discerning consumers.
