Caroline Mutuku was on Wednesday appointed as the new General Manager for Glovo Kenya.

Before Glovo, she was the General Manager for Intracity Kenya's SWVL, a the tech startup that is seeking to revolutionize mass transport in Kenya and she worked there from December 2021 to July 2022.

Before that, Caroline worked as a management consulting at McKinsey & Co for six years and focused on developing strategies, facilitating execution and building digital capabilities for banks and financial regulators across Africa.

Caroline has also worked for Standard Chartered Bank and Equity Bank in Kenya and Glovo says she brings on board a wealth of knowledge in strategy, execution and digital processes.

She is credited with solving problems using technology which has created significant development and long-lasting impact for the stakeholders involved, according to Glovo.

“I am delighted to be taking on this role as the General Manager for Glovo Kenya and continue the good work that my peers have done,” said Caroline.

She added, “I am excited to incorporate innovative and fresh ideas to take Glovo to the next level in the market.

She expressed optimism the e-commerce sector in Kenya will remain vibrant in the coming years.
