The 5th edition of the NCBA Golf Series was officially unveiled at the Railway Golf Club in Nairobi on Tuesday as the key golfing event marked its fifth year of promoting the sport.
The series offers a platform for golfers in the junior, amateur, and professional categories in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda to hone their playing skills and improve their games.
NCBA Golf Series partnered with Professional Golfers of Kenya (PGK) for the first time even as it renewed its partnerships with the Kenya Golf Union (KGU) and Junior Golf Foundation (JGF).
“We are proud to collaborate with key partners like Junior Golf Foundation, Kenya Golf Union, Professional Golfers Kenya (PGK), and various regional golf clubs to elevate the sport of golf,” said NCBA Group MD John Gachora.
Gachora intimated that the golf series is part of NCBA’s sustainability platform “Change The Story,” which was unveiled in 2023, in an effort to drive positive inclusive change in society.
