18-year-old Njoroge Kibugu flew our Kenyan flag with pride in the final round of DP World Tour's Magical Kenya Open.

He is the only Kenyan amateur to make the cut in the Magical Kenya Open Championship, where he receives a total score of 286 in the four rounds of the event.

Njoroge teed off on Sunday morning for the final round and Kenyans turned up in large numbers to cheer and support the young golfer as he continued to take on opponents at the course.

His best-played holes were number 18, where he had two birdies and an eagle. Njoroge has unquestionably elevated the game's popularity among the youth.
