Police have arrested a 53-year-old for killing another man he caught pants down with his wife at Ukwala village in Keringet, Kuresoi South Sub-county.
The bizarre incident occurred on Thursday afternoon at around 2pm when the man came back home and walked in on his wife and her lover identified as Edwin Komen enjoying themselves.
In a fit of rage, the woman’s husband fished out a machete and descended on Komen, striking him three times on the head and killing him instantly.
The woman seized a moment during the ensuing melee and escaped the wrath of her husband into a nearby farm and was still at large.
The commotion attracted the attention of villagers who thronged the homestead to witness the ghastly sight.

Peter Langat, the area Chief termed the incident unfortunate and urged the villagers to abide by the law and avoid taking the law into their own hands when faced with such circumstances.
The suspect is being held at Keringet Police Station as he gets processed for arraignment in court.
