Two suspects were on Sunday afternoon arrested after a lorry they were using to ferry 93 bales of bhang was intercepted at Hadado in Wajir County.
The driver Mohamed Oloo, 41, and his turnboy Ibrahim Burji, 26, were using a lorry branded Bamburi Cement to conceal narcotic drugs they were trafficking to an unknown destination.

The officers who were manning Lolkuta area became suspicious of the cargo that was being ferried by the lorry on the route, triggering a search that saw 465kg of bhang impounded.
The two are expected to be arraigned to face narcotics trafficking charges on Tuesday.
