Chief Government Pathologist Dr Johansen Oduor has a revealed that former National Treasury official Tom Osinde’s death resulted from two cut wounds, according to an autopsy exam.
Speaking after conducting a postmortem on his body at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital, Dr Oduor said the deep cuts resulted in a damage on Osinde’s brain and his spinal cord.
The pathologist conducted the postmortem for more than one hour as detectives also continued to tighten their investigation to establish who and what killed Osinde.
Members of Osinde’s family were present during the autopsy done on Friday afternoon as they also come to terms with the sudden and brutal death of their prominent son.
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), who are conducting the probe into his murder were also present as they sought direction to their investigation.

Osinde was reported missing from his home at Ngata in Rongai, Nakuru County on June 18 with his body retrieved on June 22 from River Kuja, which borders Migori and Kisii counties.
