A group of unknown goons on Monday invaded a property in Ruiru along the Nairobi Eastern Bypass belonging to the family of former president Uhuru Kenyatta.

The unknown youth seem to have been ferried to the location on Monday morning with their intention remaining unlcear with various videos capturing them carrying away tens of sheep believed to be stolen from the Northlands City property.

The unknown assailants accessed the property in which the Kenyatta's Brookside Dairy and Peponi School sit from the Kamakis side along the Eastern Bypass.

After invading the property, some of the youth were also seen cutting down trees using power saws.

Some of the mainly male goons were also captured setting sections of the Kenyattas farm on fire unabated with no security official present to stop the invasion of the private property.

An investigation by Swala Nyeti has established that the hundreds of youth were picked from various parts of Nairobi and Kiambu counties and ferried and financed by some politicians to the Eastern Bypass fence of the Northlands City, where they illegally gained entry.

Curiously, the breach and looting went on for hours unabated with no police being deployed to Northlands, coming a day after IG Japhet Koome warned members of the public against vandalising the property of other citizens and assured of tight security.

It is unclear the intention of the gang of youth was but it comes days after UDA leaders led by Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wa, Moses Kuria and Jayne Kihara accused Uhuru of sponsoring and being behind the Azimio protests and warned him of retaliatory attacks on their family lands across the country.
