Kenyans have sharply reacted to Bomet County Woman Representative Linet Toto's political slur  against the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga accusing him of causing political unrest in the country.

While addressing residents of Mogotio during the are MP Reuben Kibork's thanks giving ceremony, Toto said Raila engaged in cheap politics long before she was born and had always complained about rigging.

“I want to tell Rail Odinga one thing. This old man started his chaotic and cheap politics even before I was born. He started his politics in 1997 when I was yet to be born. In 2002 he was back, in 2007 he was back again, in 2017 he was back and he was back once again in 2022 and what did he claim? His victory was stolen,” Toto said.

She further reminded Raila that Ruto is the 5th president of Kenya who was elected by Kenyans.

“I want to tell you that these Kenyans voted for our President Ruto as their 5th president,” Toto added.

Her sentiments caused a stir across social media platforms with a large section cautioning her to watch her steps and respect Raila because he was responsible for bringing the democracy she so much enjoys.
