The former IEBC boss, Wafula Chebukati, has issued a demand letter to the Azimio coalition leader, Raila Odinga, asking him to substantiate his claims about the alleged visit he made to Raila’s home with other commissioners.
Through his lawyer, Steve Ogolla, Chebukati threatened to take legal action against Raila should he fail to provide the said CCTV footage within seven days.
According to Chebukati’s lawyer, Raila’s allegations have besmirched his reputation and soiled his dignity.

Raila, while addressing his supporters who gathered at the Jacaranda Grounds in Nairobi on Sunday, said Wafula Chebulati, Boya Molu and Abdi Guliye visited his home ahead of the announcement of the August presidential election winner.
He went ahead and said the trio asked him for something he did not disclose and said he had graphic evidence of their presence at his home.
This followed Chebukati’s revelation that some people tried to bribe him as well as Guliye and Molu.
