Police arrested a man for masquerading as a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer in Garissa.

The suspect identified as Moses Karoti was arrested on Sunday from his hideout where he had been hiding after circulating a videotape on social media while adorning full military fatigues.


A quick search conducted after his arrest recovered a military uniform

After his arrest, Moses was handed over to the Anti-Terror detectives for further interrogation.

He was arraigned in court on Monday morning to answer to impersonation of a military officer charge.
