ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga has continued with his attacks targeting Deputy President William Ruto for Jubilee government’s failure to deliver on pledges made in 2017.
Odinga has bashed DP Ruto calling him “Mr Six Months” for the promises he used to make during the 2013 and 2017 presidential campaigns saying they would be delivered in six months’ time.
At a meeting with Kenya University Students Organisation (KUSO) in Nairobi, he blasted the DP for failing to deliver on his “knowledge-based-technology-driven economy pledge in 2013.
“Mr Six months! In 2013 our youth, university graduates and diploma holders riding Boda Bodas were assured that after six months you would deliver a “knowledge -based -technology -driven economy,” Odinga said.
He wondered what happened between when Ruto made the pledges in 2013 when he was still enjoying closeness with President Uhuru Kenyatta and now when he is promoting the ‘hustler’ and ‘wheelbarrow’ economics instead of a digital economy.

This comes as DP Ruto has been blaming Odinga for Jubilee government failures, saying his handshake with Kenyatta and the BBI push derailed their development agenda as planned.
