Two men have been sentenced to 30 years in prison for robbing a man of his car, a mobile phone and cash.
The two individuals named Kennedy Karanja and Anthony Karanja were accused of robbery with violence against a man identified as Simon Kanyi.
According to the court documents, the duo accosted Kanyi wielding a knife and robbed him of his Toyota NZE salon car worth about Sh550,000, a mobile phone and Sh2000.
They committed the offences on March 3, 2016, and Ekai was found driving Kanyi’s car near the Muthaiga-Limuru road intersection.
He was charged with handling stolen goods, which is contrary to the Kenyan Pena Code Section 332 (2).
