President Uhuru Kenyatta has advised Kenyan men to spend their money wisely by giving priority to their families instead of their clandestine lovers.
Uhuru was speaking at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Wednesday where he was issuing land title deeds to a section of Kenyans during the launch of the National Title Deeds Issuance Program.
He said most men abandon their families wallowing in poverty whenever they come across a windfall for their clandestine lovers.
“Whenever money comes in, you’ll find them with someone (lover) as you go around the streets. They forget the ones they left at home. When the money finally gets finished, the families are rendered poor. Please men, let us change,” Uhuru appealed to men.

Uhuru also noted that some men use the title deeds as collateral to secure loans which they later squander with their secret lovers instead of uplifting their own families.
“The problem of getting title deed is that when the man gets it, he feels it's his own property and does not need others,” the president said.
“He goes to the bank to loan some money but when he leaves the bank, he spends it on his secret lovers."
He reminded Kenyans that the title deeds do not belong only to the men but to their entire families.
“This title deed is for you and your family. You need to guard it so that your family can remember you in the future. Let’s treat this as a valuable document please,” Uhuru said.
During the same event, Uhuru appealed to Kenyans to vote for candidates who will carry on with the land reforms agenda and not people who will take the country back to where it had come from.
"Given the importance of land resource in the overall national development agenda, I do urge that you don't elect people who will put us on reverse gear back to where we have come from," he said.
"We want people who will move this agenda forward and ensure every Kenyan has his rights and his property. Not taking us back to the days of theft and other things."
