UDA has unveiled Deputy President William Ruto as its presidential flag-bearer in the 2022 general elections.
He was endorsed as the party’s presidential candidate during an NDC at the Moi Sports Center Kasarani stadium.
Ruto accepted the nomination and is now officially in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The same event marked the exit of Ruto from the Jubilee party where he was the deputy party leader before being kicked out of the party and being replaced by Jimmy Angwenyi.
Two meetings were held during the NDC with UDA’s National Governing Council and the National Executive Committee.
