Wiper party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka will once again work with ODM leader Raila Odinga ahead of the August general election.

Kalonzo together with his counterparts in the Kenya Alliance (OKA) are gearing towards signing a memorandum of intent of partnering with Raila-led movement Azimio la Umoja.

Sources say the partnership deal has been hammered out by President Uhuru Kenyatta who met Musyoka at the State House and together they explored the possibility of the two former NASA luminaries working together ahead of the August general elections since the departure of Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula.

The State House meeting paved way for another meeting of the OKA principals, which informed the outfit’s decision to work with the former Prime Minister.

A deed of assignment was signed among the four party leaders namely Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper Party), Gideon Moi (KANU), Cyrus Jirongo (UDP) and the latest principal to join the alliance Martha Karua (NARK-Kenya).

The OKA principals in a joint statement said that they have committed to stand firm, together and are focused on securing and uplifting the lives of Kenyans.

The new OKA leaders said they are still open to any partnerships with like-minded leaders.

OKA constituent parties will go to their respective executive councils to forge a framework of engagement with Azimio la Umoja which will culminate in the inking of a deal.
