President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged Kenyans to partner with securities agencies in fighting crime by volunteering any vital information on threats to security.
The president made the appeal to Kenyans during the graduation ceremony of police officers at the National Police Service Embakasi ‘A’ Campus.

Uhuru said that his government has continued to fulfil its police reform agenda by providing resources, improving staff welfare, and enhancing benefits in housing and healthcare.
The head of state urged the graduands to follow the basic training they have gained and be in a position to serve in every corner of the Country.

''As a nation, we have given you the training and tools required for you to address both traditional and emerging challenges. The training program that you have completed has prepared you to counter effectively organized crime and terrorist groups,'' said the President.
President Uhuru thanked the law enforcement agencies for the role played during the enforcement of COVID-19 regulations.

''I thank the law enforcement agencies for the role you played in enforcing the COVID-19 regulations and protocols. Your acts and that of the health workers forestalled what could have been a national catastrophe,'' said Uhuru.
Uhuru has urged the police officers to remain focused and uphold the highest standard of professionalism, dignity and fidelity to the law.
He added that under his tenure, police complement has increased to 45,000 from 2013 to date.
Today, 2,610 police graduated and will be deployed in various regions of the Country.
