A group of legislatures from Amani National Congress (ANC) wants the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals to name a presidential candidate by next month.

The legislatures while giving ultimatums threatened to seek alternative political alliance if the principals will not have settled on a candidate to fly the OKA flag in next year's general election.

Led by the Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malalah the legislatures said the time is running out and the race for state house is gaining momentum.

While addressing rallies in Matunda, Kakamega County, the leaders demanded to know the plans that the alliance has in readiness for the presidential candidate.

Butere MP Tindi Mwale said the union should name its candidate by the 25th of December this year.

The leaders also threatened to ditch the movement if the ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi will not be declared the presidential candidate.
