Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested a woman who allegedly spiked her victim's drink before stealing from her at a Club in Nyali, Mombasa County.
According to DCI, Beatrice Mueni Mbiu drugged the man then stole his mobile phone and transferred Sh1.7 Million from his bank account.
The suspect, who is 24 years old, was positively identified by the victim.
DCI sleuths based at Nyali tracked down and pounced on the woman who had been captured on CCTV committing the acts.
Detectives said that on the fateful day, the woman committed the crime together with two accomplices who are still on the run and are being sought by police.

Police acted after the victim reported the incident on September 8.
DCI said Mueni will be arraigned next week as search for the other two who are on the run continues.
