A family from Malaba in Busia county is in mourning after police officers shot their 20-year-old son for allegedly not wearing a mask.

A policeman is reported to have shot the car wash attendant in Malaba town after he allegedly refused to stop when ordered by the officers.
The man is reported to have lost his life while waiting for an ambulance at Kocholia dispensary.
He died on Friday night while waiting to be moved to Bungoma county hospital for urgent medical attention.
