Anglican Church of Kenya ACK has called upon the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to prepare well for next year's general election and establish fair tallying of results.
The Archbishop Dr Jackson Ole Sapit has said the commission has now been fully constituted and must plan for gredible and peaceful elections that will bring Kenyans together.
'We urge the electoral body to ensure that preparation for the general election in 2022 are well organised through mass education,mass voter registration,monitored campaigns and transparent tallying of the results from all levels," Said Ole Sapit
Ole Sapit also called on all aspiring candidates to ensure that as they campaign, they ought to be driven by inclusivity.
“We note with deep concern the mobilisation of voters along tribal lines and other forms of exclusion," he added.

He also urged the National Cohesion and Integration Commission NCIC to be vigilant and impartial at all times to ensure that campaigns are conducted in a civilized manner.
